Plot: While she fights a heroic battle against the Spanish besieger with her female army, Kenau, driven by hate and sorrow of the execution of her youngest daughter, is threatened to also lose her eldest daughter, because her fear and pain are covered by her stubborn closeness.The film is a short anecdote about an army of female warriors in the history of the Dutch struggle against the Spanish. A widow with heroic spirit led an army of women fighting heroically to extend the time for Prince William to focus uprising forces and eventually died quietly contributed the independence win for Dutch. The spirit and her victory was an affirmation of women';s rights and gaining respect for women at that time.
