Plot: Orphaned homo sapiens child Ayla is taken in and raised by a roving Neanderthal band, learns to be a healer and a huntress in the Clan. No English or many spoken words at all.A prehistoric blond and blue-eyed orphan is integrated into a tribe by a band of cave-dwellers, but the girl soon causes problems since her intelligence and courage become a threat to a soon-to-be leader's authority.
