Plot: Mary Kay Letourneau is a teacher, who is married and has children. She then has an affair with one of her students who is underaged. When she gets pregnant, she is charged with statutory rape. After pleading with the judge to give her a chance, she was instructed not to see the boy again, but when she not only disregards the instructions, she gets pregnant again. She is sent to prison.In this fact-based film, educator Mary Kay Letourneau (Penelope Ann Miller) is in the midst of an unsatisfying marriage when she bonds with sixth grader Vili Fualaau (Omar Anguiano). Soon after they begin a sexual relationship. Eventually, their romance is discovered, and she barely escapes jail time after having a baby with Vili. But when the couple reunites with plans to run away together, Mary Kay is caught again and must face the legal and social consequences of her affair.
