Plot: centers on Michelle (Sutton Foster) who was accepted into the American Ballet Theatre at the age of 17 with a full scholarship, eventually did some Broadway and then ended up as a Las Vegas showgirl. Looking at a dead end with both her career and life, she impulsively marries a man and moves to his sleepy coastal town where she takes an uneasy role at her new mother-in-law's dance school.
